My main treatment method is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy which is aimed at helping people live as full a life as possible regardless of the their circumstances. I also use other method based on the needs of the individual I'm working with. I've been a symphony musician, Navy and hospital chaplain, and began my psychology career at a state hospital. My psychology degree emphasized addiction. Due to my chaplaincy experience, I am naturally open to spiritual and religious pathways to recovery and healing, but only in accordamce with the wishes of the client.
Hi, my name is Leticia and I specialize in past traumas - welcome to my practice.
Being bilingual has allowed me to work with Spanish speaking families. Being from a first generation immigrant family makes me sensitive to bi cultural issues. My scope of practice has been primarily with young children, foster children, and adolescents. I also work along with parents to provide them with skills to handle problems such as tantrums, sensory issues, parenting/discipline issues, behavioral problems, and anxiety. I also work with young adults struggling with family conflicts, bi-cultural issues, career decisions, depression, anxiety, and childhood trauma.

Hi my name is Cristina, my pro nouns are she/her. I went to two private institutions and graduated with my masters of science in Clinical Psychology. While In grad school I had the privilege of working with children in inpatient pediatric mental health for two years at CHOC Children's Hospital of Orange County. Shortly after I began working in residential addiction treatment with adults at AKUA in Newport Beach for another two years. While at AKUA I graduated from grad school and left to focus my attention in private practice where I currently center LGBTQ+ and POC clients and allies.
I believe that our creative and determined psyche allows us to “make it through” whatever life throws our way. We develop ideals, patterns, behaviors, and ways of thinking about the world, ourselves, and others. These things that at one point were meant to be protective and preserve us can overtime unknowingly to us be the very thing that gets in our way preventing us from living the life we ultimately desire. It can manifest itself in ways such as feeling frustrated with ourselves, self hate, feeling stuck, disconnected from our body, or even frozen with anxiety, depression, and maybe suicidal thoughts.
20 years experienced as a marriage family therapist.
Life doesn't have to be in crisis for you to deserve support. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, navigating a major transition, or feeling stuck despite "having it all together," you deserve care that takes you seriously.
I'm a licensed clinical social worker certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, with over 7 years of clinical experience in community mental health settings. Since beginning my clinical training in 2018, I've worked with people across the full spectrum of mental health challenges - from acute crises to the quieter struggles of burnout, imposter syndrome, and feeling overwhelmed by daily life. This experience taught me that every person's struggle matters, whether you're managing a major depressive episode or trying to figure out why success doesn't feel the way you thought it would.
What sets social work apart is our focus on the whole picture. I don't just look at what's happening inside you - I consider how your work environment, relationships, cultural background, and the systems around you shape your wellbeing. As someone who understands the complexity of navigating different cultural contexts and competing expectations, I'm particularly attuned to the invisible pressures many of us carry.
