I began my company, "Color of Change: Healing and Hope Counseling," because let's face it, today, the world is moving at a rapid pace, often leaving individuals spinning with less time to breathe or practice self-care and self-reflection, or addressing their personal, family, marital, and spiritual needs. You can be provided with direction and clarity to slow life's experiences, allowing you to focus on your individual needs and those within your support system or sphere of influence. The world is unrecognizable and unsettling to many, and adjusting has become challenging to navigate and adapt to the fast, complicated, and radical internal and external changes. The role of a therapist is to help you find yourself and your strengths amid life's emotional, psychological, relational, spiritual, and physical challenges. As you partner with your therapist, you embark on a path to thrive in the face of changes and difficulties.
Therefore, this therapist/clinician (Dr. Myria) needs to meet all clients where they are. Dr. Myria works intensely to provide a safe place where clients can openly share and speak the truth. Each person deserves support in navigating personal and environmental stressors. She strives to create a non-judgmental and non-critical atmosphere, enabling individuals, families, couples, and groups at various stages of growth and healing to relate to and receive services effectively.
Some experiences cannot be put into words and yet their impact lasts a lifetime. Tendrils of that impact are apparent in most aspects of our lives. I specialize in working with such experiences: whether you call it trauma, something else, or nothing at all. I can help you work with the gray areas of life: the parts of identity, belonging, and pain that are complicated and often without words. And I do this from a culturally-affirming stance. My culture influences my perspective and responses in life, so, I hold others' cultural identities as central to their therapy.
When I began seeing a therapist, I realized just how much I needed an outlet to process hardships in my life and to feel genuinely heard, and this is exactly what I want to provide to clients who come to see me. As I have advanced in my own self-discovery and identity exploration, I have become interested in helping others in the LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent (specifically autism and ADHD), and disability communities on their own journeys. I believe that having lived experience related to my specialties is a fundamental component to the care I can provide.

Hey, I am Stephanie. I've been a therapist for over 13 years. I received my masters degree in counseling from Villanova University and have been on a journey of partnering with others to grow and live their best lives ever since. How can I help you? Let's find out together.
I am a Pennsylvania-licensed psychologist with 23 years of counseling experience with adults of all ages, from late-adolescence and across the lifespan.
My practice focuses on helping individuals develop personally meaningful ways of navigating anxiety and depression, grief and loss, trauma and PTSD, time-of-life transitions, and identity development. These therapeutic partnerships often involve identity-affirming explorations of racial, ethnic, LGBTQIA, and neuro-diversity matters within clients’ lives.
Helping clients feels safe, regarded, and at ease... I work hard to understand what each individual needs from me to feel these things at the forefront of our relationship.
I feel really confident in my empathic attunement toward clients as I authentically connect with each individual. I prioritize creating a shared space of sincerity as clients begin telling me their stories.
And what an honor it is, helping clients share their narratives in a manner that highlights their courage and resilience, as well as their yearning and needs.
As we begin to explore and understand all of these things, we hone in on each client’s inner resources and external supports — identifying these things and figuring out how each individual client can feel most empowered in themselves.
