Hi! I'm Astrid, a dedicated nurse practitioner with over 17 years of healthcare experience, including 4 years in mental health.
I believe everyone deserves care that respects their entire being and honors the uniqueness of their life story.
My mission is to create a supportive and healing environment where mental health is approached holistically in a safe and judgment-free environment.
I am deeply committed to supporting individuals, especially women across the lifespan, from puberty and postpartum to perimenopause and beyond, as they navigate challenges, reclaim their power, and thrive.
I am passionate about helping you discover the best you. I have been in practice for 20+ yrs. My experience covers ADHD, anxiety disorders, PTSD, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and substance abuse disorders. I view my role as being a partner with you on your journey to greater health and quality of life.
I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from St. Thomas University and bring eight years of prior experience as an adult and pediatric emergency room nurse. My background in acute care has given me a strong foundation in crisis intervention, compassionate listening, and evidence-based clinical judgment.
I was born in Los Angeles, spent 15 years living in Hawaii, and now reside in Miami, Florida. My diverse life experiences — including traveling to 23 countries — have shaped my cultural awareness and deep respect for the unique perspectives of every individual I serve.
I believe that mental wellness involves treating the whole person, not just their symptoms. My goal is to create a supportive, collaborative environment where you feel heard, empowered, and equipped to build meaningful, lasting change in your life.
I believe inner balance is the path to mental wellness. I'm here to support you and empower you to achieve your goals and to attained the quality of life you deserved.
