I have been a therapist for over 25 years providing individual, couple, family, and group therapy. I am very passionate about helping others see their individual strengths and unique gifts to help guide them and navigate challenges in life. The most valuable experience I enjoy seeing is the transformation of a person healing and growing to their desired outcome. I believe every person has the ability to achieve their highest potential.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor passionate about helping children, teens, adults, and families heal and grow. My approach integrates trauma-informed and evidence-based methods, including EMDR, TF-CBT, and parent-child work to strengthen relationships and promote resilience. At Bending Willows Wellness, we believe in the power of flexibility and perseverance—helping clients “bend” rather than break through life’s challenges. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where you can explore, heal, and move toward a more fulfilling and authentic life.
Welcome! My name is Aya and I am a LCSW in TX and NJ. I love working with people to help them better cope with symptoms of depression, anxiety, adjustment life transitions, or stress. I am here to help you reconnect to yourself, to your personal goals, values, and motivations: all the things that make you a unique individual (you!). I'm here to support you, explore your thoughts and emotions, sort through the difficulties you are dealing with, and gain insight and tools to navigate your life.
Hi, I’m Hannah Short, LCSW, founder of Rooted & Nourished Psychotherapy. I’m a licensed clinical social worker based in Texas, and my work is centered around helping women heal their relationship with food, their bodies, and themselves.
I specialize in eating disorder recovery, body image concerns, perinatal and postpartum support, and bariatric surgery mental health support. I also offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) through my partnership with Journey Clinical.
My approach is deeply compassionate, trauma-informed, and grounded in the belief that you are not “broken”—you’re navigating patterns that once helped you survive. Together, we slow down, get curious, and build a kinder, more connected relationship with your body and your mind.
I draw from IFS (parts work), somatic approaches, CBT/DBT skills, and attachment-based therapy, weaving in your story, your strengths, and your real-life context.
Before private practice, I worked extensively with adults navigating trauma, chronic dieting, postpartum transitions, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and the emotional toll of navigating healthcare systems. My clinical training includes a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Houston, postgraduate work in trauma and eating disorders, and ongoing advanced training in perinatal mental health and ketamine-assisted therapy.
Whether you're stepping into therapy for the first time or returning after a long break, my goal is simple: to create a safe space where you feel seen, supported, and understood. You don’t have to walk through this alone—healing starts with one small step, and I’m here to help you take it.
I believe in the strength and grit that brought you here—and I trust that the same inner resources that carried you here can help you build the life you truly want. I work with emerging adults and motivated seekers who’ve read the books, followed the advice, and tried to fix it all, yet still feel something is missing. You don’t need another voice telling you what to do—you need someone who can help you hear your own. Therapy with me isn’t about fixing what’s “wrong.” It’s about uncovering what’s been hidden, reconnecting with your inner resources, and moving forward with clarity and confidence.
I try to be relatable, respectful, and at times transparent. My journey to becoming a therapist gives me perspectives that allow me to connect with a lot of different people from diverse walks of life
My name is Corey Tolliver, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have worked with various populations and have a diverse background including people with trauma, crisis, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship problems, and fatherhood.
After 18 years as a hospital-based pediatrician, my practice is now dedicated to promoting adult mental health and wellness through counseling and psychotherapy. In 2022 I founded PADMA Counseling, PLLC, which provides individual telehealth services to adults 18-64 in Texas. PADMA, the Sanskrit word for "lotus," is an acronym for the principles that guide my clinical practice and daily life: Positivity, Authenticity, Development & Growth, Mutuality, and Appreciation & Gratitude.
